Author Ranking System

Our unique ranking algorithm calculates the influence and success of WordPress.org authors based on three key factors:

Score = 0.60 * log10(Installs) + 0.25 * (Avg_Quality) + 0.15 * (Portfolio_Size)
  • Volume (60%): Total active installations across all products.
  • Quality (25%): Average active installs per individual plugin or theme.
  • Consistency (15%): Square root of the total number of plugins and themes in the portfolio.

How to Add Keywords

You can track the search engine performance of any plugin or theme by adding custom keywords:

  1. Navigate to a specific Plugin or Theme page.
  2. Scroll down to the Keywords section.
  3. Enter your target keywords separated by commas (e.g., seo, optimization, marketing).
  4. Click Submit.
Note: Keywords are stored in your browser's local storage. They are used to fetch the current position of the item in the WordPress.org search results in real-time.
